For our regional facility in Singapore, we are looking for a motivated Supplier Conformance Specialist.

 

Main job responsibilities

 

  • Ensure supplier discrepancy turnaround time is in compliance
  • Analyse and address supplier discrepancy reports, launching corrective actions and ensuring quality levels are met.
  • Act as liaison for the supplier and the company to resolve discrepancies and quality issues effectively by interacting and communicating both externally and internally with various stakeholders.
  • Initiate recording of supplier discrepancies and follow-up with supplier on corrective actions to ensure complete and effective root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Document and report on improvement initiatives.
  • Provide support to Quality team and second level support to Customer Order Desk on customer’s claims.
  • Provide support and guidance to the warehouse team on the incoming and outgoing quality assurance process.
  • Strengthen cross functional and supplier relations to reduce turnaround time and the overall number of discrepancies.
  • Make suggestions for process improvement based on data collected from supplier discrepancy reports.

 

Professional Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years´ experience in a commercial or Supply Chain position, with Diploma in a relevant discipline.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • English at fluent level.
  • Candidates with knowledge of EN9120 standard will have an added advatage
  • Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of SAP
  • The ideal candidate has a strong mindset on being customer and supplier focused, and is able to balance and align varying interests of stakeholders
  • He/She is a strong team player, with excellent communication skills
  • Possesses good analytical skill with the ability to see the bigger picture and derive mid to long term recommendations on way forward
  • ·Ability to work in an international context
