Quality Engineer

About the position

This position will be responsible for the optimization of planning and inventory control parameters in accordance with Satair’s objectives and strategies. 

  • Develop and continuously maintaining, analysing and improving the Quality Management System based on rules and regulations for QMS in the aviation business
  • Support for external and internal questions regarding the Quality Management System
  • Phased project lead: planning and leading projects
    • Develop and implement quality management system
    • Ensure policies, procedures and practices are in compliance with global quality & aviation regulatory requirements
    • Ensure excellent cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
    • Support the creation and maintenance of company documentation, such as quality manuals and quality procedures
    • Work with Supply Chain to establish quality requirements
    • Work with other managers to establish quality goals for new and existing products
  • Manage problem solving and root cause analysis activities with suppliers and customers (internal and external) to eliminate recurrence of non‐conformances

Professional requirements

  • More than five years’ experience with Quality
  • Practical problem solving experience
  • Lean experience
  • Project Management fundamentals
  • Knowledge of EASA Part 21 & 145 fundamentals
  • Knowledge of EN91XX series fundamentals
  • Technical understanding from the aviation industry would be preferred
  • Working knowledge of English, both orally and in writing
